Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis kindred-midrange strategy led by Doctor Doom, King of Latveria. It focuses on assembling a board of Villain creatures, triggering connive abilities at combat, and turning card filtering into board presence and life drain. The deck curves low-cost Villains into Doctor Doom on Turn 4, buffing attackers with menace and +1/+1 counters while burning opponents whenever land cards are discarded. In the midgame, token producers like Mysterio, Master of Illusion and Madame Hydra widen the board, while anthems such as Iron Monger, Sadistic Tycoon and The Squadron Sinister scale combat damage. Graveyard recursion cards like Behold the Sinister Six! and Too Evil to Stay Dead provide resilience against opposing removal. The deck lacks fast mana and compact combos, aiming instead to overpower the table through steady combat pressure and life drain.
