Deck overview

This deck is a mono-white control deck built around rattlesnake deterrents, tax effects, and pillowfort enchantments. Helmed by Michiko Konda, Truth Seeker, the deck discourages opponents from attacking by threatening immediate permanent sacrifice on retaliation. It establishes an early defensive foundation with cards like Ghostly Prison, Blind Obedience, and Authority of the Consuls while deploying asymmetric hatebears such as Drannith Magistrate and Linvala, Keeper of Silence to disrupt opposing game plans. Resource advantage is generated through passive card engines like Trouble in Pairs, Esper Sentinel, and Smothering Tithe. The deck transitions into late-game victory via token swarms from Luminarch Ascension and Court of Grace, buffed beatdown from Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite, or an alternate win with Approach of the Second Sun. Highly resilient protection spells like Teferi's Protection and Flawless Maneuver ensure the board survives sweepers while grinding out the table.
