Deck overview

Bard, King of Dale is an Azorius token-and-draw doubling deck. The primary plan is to land Bard, then use cheap cantrips and token generators to trigger second-draw payoffs such as Homunculus Horde while token doublers like Anointed Procession and Ocelot Pride explode the board. Secondary paths include copying the best creature with Mirror Image, Copycrook, or Naga Fleshcrafter, and finishing with Intangible Virtue, Thorin's Last Stand, or Teferi's ultimate. Homunculus Horde is the hidden commander: it turns Bard's draw doubling into exponential creature production. The deck has no infinite combo and wins through overwhelming combat damage, with The One Ring and Kasmina providing staying power.
