Mahadi, Throw away riches! by Nivosus

Format: Commander

Commander: Mahadi, Emporium Master

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Mahadi, Emporium Master turns every death into a Treasure, and this Rakdos deck is built to ensure there are plenty of deaths. The primary plan is an aristocrats and artifact-sacrifice engine: trade creatures and artifacts for cards, drain opponents with Mayhem Devil and Mirkwood Bats, then use the resulting Treasures to ramp into an upkeep win condition like Revel in Riches or Hellkite Tyrant. Backup lines use the same Treasures to cast a giant Mortivore or Demon of Death's Gate and fling it via Fling, Thud, or Chandra's Ignition. There is no hidden commander; Juri and Lagomos act as support pieces for the sacrifice-and-treasure game plan.
