Deck overview

Thorin, King of Durin's Folk commands an aggressive Boros tribal strategy that converts artifact tokens into massive combat power. The deck develops low-cost Dwarves and efficient mana rocks on turns 1 through 3. Casting Thorin on Turn 4 creates Treasure tokens and grants an immediate +1/+0 buff to all other Dwarves for every artifact token you control. On Turn 5, deploying more Dwarves or triggering token generators like Magda, Brazen Outlaw creates an overwhelming attack that chunks opposing life totals. Magda also tutors game-ending pieces like Roaming Throne, The One Ring, and Smaug the Magnificent directly onto the battlefield. Efficient spot removal in Swords to Plowshares, Path to Exile, and Chaos Warp handles key opposing threats, while Boros Charm shields your army from destructive sweepers. The deck closes games around Turn 7 through scaling combat damage and burn.
