Deck overview

This Bant deck combines Dog tribal aggro with artifact token generation and +1/+1 counter synergies led by Sophia, Dogged Detective. Early turns focus on establishing mana ramp and deploying low-cost Dogs like Pack Leader, Lucky the Pizza Dog, and Spirited Companion. Once Sophia enters on turn 4, she immediately creates Tiny and turns every successful Dog combat connection into Food and Clue tokens. These artifact tokens are then sacrificed to grow the entire pack with +1/+1 counters, amplified by cards like Branching Evolution and Brokers Ascendancy. The deck finishes games between turns 6 and 8 by granting evasion through Herald of Secret Streams, Abzan Falconer, or resolving an asymmetric sweeper like Damning Verdict. While vulnerable to mass creature exile and heavy removal, the deck maintains steady card flow by cracking Clues and features solid recovery through redundant counter lords.
