Deck overview

This Golgari deck utilizes Baba Lysaga, Night Witch as a combined card-advantage engine and life-drain clock. The deck is engineered around multi-type permanents—such as artifact lands, artifact creatures, enchantment creatures, and man-lands—which allow a single sacrifice to satisfy Baba Lysaga's requirement of three distinct card types. Once operational, each activation draws three cards, drains three life from each opponent, and gains three life. Untap enablers such as Seedborn Muse, Sting, the Glinting Dagger, and Patriar's Seal multiply these triggers across opponent turns, turning incremental drain into a rapid clock. Graveyard recursion from Life from the Loam, Ramunap Excavator, and Conduit of Worlds ensures an endless stream of sacrifice fodder. Supported by premium Golgari removal like Assassin's Trophy and Culling Ritual, the deck controls opposing threats while steadily depleting the table's life totals.
