Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis Villain tribal and discard-synergy midrange strategy commanded by Doctor Doom, King of Latveria. The game plan revolves around leveraging combat connive triggers to simultaneously loot through the library, grow Villain creatures with +1/+1 counters, and weaponize discarded land cards into direct 2-life drain against each opponent. Supported by robust cost-reducers and artifact ramp, the deck smoothly deploys Doctor Doom on Turn 4 before untapping into potent synergistic payoffs on Turn 5, including Archfiend of Ifnir for one-sided board clearing, Bone Miser for mana and token generation, and The Squadron Sinister for massive aerial combat buffs. While the deck lacks fast combo finishes and dedicated stax locks, it maintains exceptional board presence, steady graveyard access through the mayhem mechanic, and resilient mid-game card selection to grind down opponents.
