Deck overview

This General Marhault Elsdragon deck turns opposing blocking decisions into overwhelming offensive power. Marhault grants any blocked creature +3/+3 for each creature blocking it. The deck capitalizes on this ability using forced-block enablers like Taunting Elf, Lure, and Nemesis Mask to force all opposing defenders into a single attacker. Paired with global trample sources like Archetype of Aggression, Garruk's Uprising, and Proud Wildbonder, the massive power buff tramples directly into life totals. Supported by dense 1-2 CMC ramp, the deck routinely deploys its commander on Turn 3 or 4 and threatens lethal eliminations starting on Turn 5. Independent powerhouses like Anzrag, the Quake-Mole, Moraug, Fury of Akoum, and Gruff Triplets provide alternate win conditions if the commander is removed, though the list remains vulnerable to sweepers and instant removal due to light protective interaction.
