And My Axe! by cvance2391

Format: Commander

Commander: Thorin Oakenshield

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Boros Dwarf Equipment voltron deck wins through combat, not combos. Thorin Oakenshield is a cheap 3/2 with trample that gives your artifacts and creatures ward 1 once you have an enduring story, and Hexing Squelcher makes your spells uncounterable and gives other creatures ward - pay 2 life. The main plan is to put Colossus Hammer, Excalibur, Sword of Eden, or Mjolnir, Hammer of Thor on Thorin or another Dwarf and amplify damage with Fiery Emancipation or Torbran, Thane of Red Fell. A secondary go-wide plan uses An Unexpected Party, Dwarven Shortsword, and Thorin, King of Durin's Folk anthems. Card draw from Sram, Puresteel Paladin, and Kili keeps Equipment flowing. No infinite combo is present.
