Deck overview

This Mardu deck is led by Tsagan, Raider Warlord and focuses on high-speed combat aggression powered by first strike and double strike synergies. The strategy deploys low-mana creatures with first strike during the opening turns, curves into Tsagan on Turn 3, and begins scaling attack triggers on Turn 4. As Tsagan attacks, it grants an escalating power buff to the entire team based on the number of first and double strike creatures you control. The deck compounds this pressure using extra combat steps, double strike enablers, and the Speed mechanic, which unlocks permanent team-wide first strike and deathtouch at max speed. While it lacks generic tutors and countermagic, the list features high functional redundancy among low-cost threats and explosive combat multipliers. Supported by flexible removal, redirection spells, and protective charms, the deck aims to eliminate opponents sequentially between Turns 5 and 7 through overwhelming combat damage.
