Deck overview

This Naya deck is a high-tempo Equipment Voltron strategy led by Cloud, Ex-SOLDIER. The game plan focuses on deploying high-power Equipment like Colossus Hammer, Excalibur, Sword of Eden, or Buster Sword during the opening turns, then casting Cloud on turn 4. Because Cloud has haste and automatically attaches an Equipment upon entering the battlefield, he immediately swings as a massive threat, drawing cards and creating Treasure tokens when his power reaches 7 or more. The deck backs up this aggressive clock with an extensive suite of low-cost equipment tutors and redundant protection pieces, including Clever Concealment, Heroic Intervention, and tutorable hexproof gear. Alternate threats like Vincent, Vengeful Atoner and Tifa, Martial Artist ensure the deck maintains lethal pressure even if Cloud is heavily targeted. While the strategy relies on fair combat damage across multiple turns, its high redundancy, mana acceleration, and durable shielding create a formidable mid-game presence.
