Deck overview

This Atraxa, Praetors' Voice deck is a high-power Poison Proliferate Midrange strategy that bypasses traditional 40-life totals. The primary plan infects every opponent early through non-combat poison spells like Prologue to Phyresis, Ichor Rats, and Vraska's Fall, avoiding creature combat bottlenecks. Once all opponents have poison counters, the deck deploys Atraxa and powerful counter multipliers like Tekuthal, Inquiry Dominus and Vorinclex, Monstrous Raider to scale poison counts rapidly via passive end-step and spell-cast triggers. A robust four-color interaction suite featuring Farewell, Culling Ritual, Bring the Ending, and Anguished Unmaking maintains control while Teferi, Time Raveler and Heroic Intervention shield the board. If board stalls or heavy creature removal occur, the deck can pivot to an alternate win condition using Demonic Consultation and Jace, Wielder of Mysteries to close the game on the spot.
