Deck overview

Sauron, the Dark Lord leads a Grixis Amass and Ring-tempt midrange deck. It builds one large Orc Army, grows it whenever opponents cast spells and with dedicated amass cards, and uses combat damage from the Army to trigger the Ring tempts you ability for burst card draw. Saruman, the White Hand and Mauhur act as secondary engines that accelerate counters. The deck wins by making the Army unblockable and swinging for lethal, with Chandra's Ignition and Soul's Fire as direct damage outlets. It plays a grindy, interactive game with strong instant-speed removal and draw, but it needs time to set up its six-mana commander and finish three opponents in sequence.
