Deck overview

This is a Grixis sacrifice-reanimation value engine helmed by Marchesa, the Black Rose. The core loop is simple: put +1/+1 counters on creatures, sacrifice them, and let Marchesa's end-step trigger return them to the battlefield, generating repeated death and enter-the-battlefield triggers. The primary win condition is the Glen Elendra Archmage + Unspeakable Symbol infinite persist combo, which feeds infinite drain through Kokusho, the Evening Star or Gray Merchant of Asphodel, infinite damage through Flayer of the Hatebound, and infinite mill through Altar of Dementia. A secondary combat plan leverages Thundering Raiju, Uncivil Unrest, and Herald of Secret Streams to close games through unblockable, double-damage attacks. The deck is a grindy midrange strategy that out-values opponents through recursion before pivoting to a combo finish.
