Deck overview

This mono-black Zombie tribal deck is commanded by Ghoulcaller Gisa, focusing on sacrifice-based token multiplication, lord-driven combat damage, and aristocrat life drain. The deck develops mana through on-curve artifacts and lands, curves out with resilient Zombie creatures, and deploys Gisa on Turn 4 or 5. Once operational, Gisa converts high-power creatures into wide armies of 2/2 Zombie tokens. Buffed by anthem lords like Undead Warchief, Death Baron, and Cemetery Reaper, these tokens overwhelm opposing defenses with deathtouch and menace. Death-trigger engines such as Undead Augur, Midnight Reaper, and Vengeful Dead turn opposing removal into card advantage and direct life loss. High devotion payoffs like Gray Merchant of Asphodel and recurring threats like Grave Titan provide decisive burst damage and table reach. While the list lacks stack interaction, artifact removal, and targeted protection spells, its deep graveyard recursion and dense creature redundancy ensure continuous board presence and steady attrition.
