Deck overview

This Bant deck uses Peter Parker // Amazing Spider-Man to cheat massive legendary creatures onto the battlefield for just three mana ({G}{W}{U}). The early turns focus on deploying 1-mana mana dorks or unblockable creatures on Turn 1 and casting Peter Parker on Turn 2, which also creates a 2/1 Spider token. On Turn 3, Peter transforms into Amazing Spider-Man. Starting on Turn 4, the deck taps a creature for mana or attacks, then returns it to hand via web-slinging to cast 7-to-10-mana legendary bombs such as Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur, Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite, Koma, Cosmos Serpent, and Zopandrel, Hunger Dominus. A dense suite of low-cost countermagic and protection spells defends Spider-Man and the board. Once overwhelming threats are established, the deck closes the game through massive combat damage buffed by pump effects or cleared by Cyclonic Rift, eliminating all opponents within two to three combat cycles.
