Deck overview

This Grixis build helmed by Sauron, the Dark Lord leans heavily into the Wraith creature type and the Ring tempts you mechanic. The primary game plan is to deploy Sauron alongside a suite of nine Nazgul and numerous changelings, using copy effects like Molten Echoes and Helm of the Host to multiply combat threats. Each Ring tempts trigger can turn into massive card advantage through Sauron's ability, while Blade of Selves and myriad from Auton Soldier enable one-swarm kills against the whole table. The deck wins through overwhelming combat damage, with no infinite combos.
