Deck overview

This deck is a four-color +1/+1 counters midrange powerhouse led by partner commanders Ishai, Ojutai Dragonspeaker and Reyhan, Last of the Abzan. It focuses on curving out efficient mana acceleration into scaling counter engines and power doublers such as Branching Evolution, Corpsejack Menace, and Kalonian Hydra. While Ishai grows exponentially from opposing spellcasts, Reyhan ensures that accumulated counters are never lost to removal, transferring them onto surviving threats or storing them with The Ozolith. The deck features potent draw engines like Danny Pink and Fathom Mage that convert counter placement into massive card advantage. It protects its board with spells like Heroic Intervention and Kutzil, Malamet Exemplar, before closing the game around Turn 7 with unblockable or flying combat damage via Herald of Secret Streams and Abzan Falconer, or an alternate win with Simic Ascendancy.
