Format: Commander

Commander: Storm, Force of Nature

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Storm, Force of Nature is a one-engine spellslinger: after she connects, the next instant/sorcery gets storm. The deck maximizes that trigger with cheap rituals and draw spells, then multiplies a finisher with copy spells and Thousand-Year Storm. Guttersnipe, Thermo-Alchemist, Longshot, Lady Loki, and the Emperor // Lord Master turn casts and attacks into lethal damage. Secondary paths use Show and Tell or Defense of the Heart to cheat in Zaffai, Kylox, or Thousand-Year Storm. The Commander is single-faced; the closest hidden-commander role belongs to Kylox, Visionary Inventor and The Emperor, which can each become the engine on their own. The plan is resilient but finite, needing the storm count to be high enough to finish three opponents.
