Deck overview

This deck is a Jeskai spellslinger strategy designed to turn the graveyard into an expansive second hand. Led by Sevinne, the Chronoclasm, the deck focuses on copying the first instant or sorcery cast from the graveyard each turn. Early turns are dedicated to deploying 2-CMC mana rocks, cost-reducers like Stormcatch Mentor and Ral, Monsoon Mage, and looting effects to stock the graveyard. In the midgame, engines like Secrets of the Dead, Vega, the Watcher, Kykar, Wind's Fury, and Storm-Kiln Artist generate card flow, mana, and creature tokens whenever spells are cast or flashbacked. The deck transitions into a lethal threat on Turn 6 by resolving high-impact, copied flashback spells such as Prisoner's Dilemma or Isengard Unleashed, or by swarming the board with flying tokens buffed by Jeskai Ascendancy. It closes games on Turn 7 through overwhelming combat damage or duplicated burn bursts.
