Deck overview

This deck is a high-power Temur wheel and token swarm strategy led by Xyris, the Writhing Storm. The game plan focuses on deploying early mana ramp to cast Xyris on turn 4, followed by resolving symmetrical draw and wheel effects such as Wheel of Fortune, Windfall, and Winds of Change. Each wheel forces three opponents to draw seven cards, creating 21 1/1 Snake creature tokens in a single turn. The deck converts these tokens into overwhelming mana through cards like Cryptolith Rite and Jaheira, Friend of the Forest, draws through the library with Skullclamp, and closes games rapidly using group burn like Purphoros, God of the Forge and Impact Tremors, or massive overrun combat damage via Craterhoof Behemoth and Beastmaster Ascension. Free interaction spells like Fierce Guardianship and Deflecting Swat protect the engine during critical turns.
