Ureni B2 by user4184125

Format: Commander

Commander: Ureni of the Unwritten

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Ureni of the Unwritten is the deck's engine: it cheats a Dragon into play on entry and again on every attack, turning the top of the library into a repeating Dragon tutor. The primary plan is to ramp or cheat out big Dragons, give them haste, and finish with combat damage, often amplified by extra-combat spells such as World at War and Full Throttle. Secondary routes include Hellkite Tyrant's artifact-theft alt-win, Summon: Bahamut's Mega Flare, and Miirym/Lathliss token multiplication. The commander is single-faced and the deck is built to use Ureni as a repeatable ETB/attack engine; there is no hidden commander among the 99, though Klauth and Atarka serve as finishing catalysts.
