Deck overview

This deck is the stock Commander 2016 Entropic Uprising preconstructed deck helmed by Yidris, Maelstrom Wielder. Its game plan revolves around ramping through early artifact and land accelerators, casting Yidris on Turn 4, and attacking an undefended opponent on Turn 5 to trigger combat-damage cascade. Once active, casting mid-sized spells from hand cascades into additional spells, generating overwhelming card and board advantage. The win conditions rely on wide token armies like Army of the Damned, scaling beaters such as Consuming Aberration, and symmetric wheel effects that churn through libraries. Because the deck has no infinite combos or targeted tutors, it embraces chaotic velocity and spell recursion to overrun tables. Its main hurdles include a high count of tapped lands, heavy reliance on combat damage to activate its commander, and an absence of countermagic to protect its board.
