Deck overview

This deck is a focused Dimir tempo and burn strategy helmed by Yuriko, the Tiger's Shadow. The primary plan uses cheap, unblockable 1-drop creatures to trigger Commander Ninjutsu on Turn 2. Once Yuriko enters combat unblocked, her triggered ability turns every connected Ninja into card draw and table-wide life loss. The deck manipulates the top of the library with cards like Brainstorm, Ponder, and Portent to place massive mana-value spells such as Shadow of Mortality, Temporal Trespass, and Dig Through Time on top. This setup deals 8 to 15 damage to every opponent simultaneously while drawing those cards into hand. A suite of efficient 1-to-2-mana counterspells and removal spells protects your board and disrupts key opposing threats. By attacking with multiple Ninjas each turn, the deck rapidly drains all opponents to zero while maintaining a full grip of cards.
