New Untitled Deck by thanal

Format: Commander

Commander: Kodama of the West Tree

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This mono-green deck looks to land Kodama of the West Tree on turn 3, modify him with equipment or counters, and turn every combat into a land tutor. The primary plan is a +1/+1 counter engine: Hardened Scales, Doubling Season, Branching Evolution, Bristly Bill, and Kalonian Hydra turn small Hydras into trampling one-shot threats. Secondary paths are beatdown with Champion of Lambholt and a value saga in Jugan Defends the Temple // Remnant of the Rising Star. Kodama is both the ramp engine and trample-granting commander; the deck does not rely on a hidden commander but benefits greatly from the flipped Remnant as a second engine.
