Format: Commander

Commander: Satoru Umezawa

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Satoru Umezawa is the deck's engine and enabler: his second ability gives every creature card in hand ninjutsu, so an unblockable 1-drop becomes a discounted fatty for {2}{U}{B}. Blightsteel Colossus is the hidden win condition, cheated in tapped and attacking to apply 11 infect. The primary plan is one unblockable attack, then Blightsteel; Thousand-Faced Shadow, Sakashima the Impostor, and Spark Double multiply the attack so two opponents die in the same combat. Secondary paths use Rune-Scarred Demon, Wrexial, and Fallen Shinobi for value, plus combat-damage draw engines. There is no double-faced commander; Satoru is single-faced and the entire shell is built around his granted ninjutsu.
