Deck overview

This deck is a Dimir spellslinger control and clone engine commanded by Rusko, Clockmaker. The game plan revolves around casting Rusko on curve to conjure a Midnight Clock, then multiplying Rusko and the clocks through non-legendary clone spells like Spark Double and repeatable blink engines like Thassa, Deep-Dwelling. Every noncreature spell cast—including cheap cantrips, low-cost removal, and protection spells—triggers each Rusko to drain opponents for 1 life and place an hour counter on every clock. Once clocks hit 12 counters, they wheel your hand into seven fresh spells, refueling the engine to chain spells and eliminate the entire table through non-combat life loss by Turn 7.
