Commander: Azlask, the Swelling Scourge

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This deck is a five-color Eldrazi token swarm helmed by Azlask, the Swelling Scourge. The primary game plan is to generate a critical mass of Eldrazi Scion and Spawn tokens, then use Azlask's activated ability to pump the entire board and grant them annihilator 1 for a game-ending combat step. The tokens also serve as mana accelerants to cast large Eldrazi threats like Desolation Twin and Artisan of Kozilek. The deck leans heavily on anthem effects - Broodwarden, Forsaken Monument, Vanquisher's Banner, and Titans' Vanguard - to turn 0/1 tokens into real beaters. Secondary win paths include bypassing the combat step with Echoes of Eternity and Reflections of Littjara for value copying, or using Ulalek, Fused Atrocity to multiply spells and triggers. The deck pilots as a midrange value engine that builds toward a single, overwhelming combat turn.
