Deck overview

Denzilore Fatehold commands a focused Azorius tempo and +1/+1 counters archetype built around dense scry and surveil triggers. The deck deploys low-cost evasive creatures and repeatable scry permanents during the opening turns, then flashes in Denzilore Fatehold to immediately convert every scry and surveil action into team-wide +1/+1 counters. Combat damage escalates rapidly behind evasive enablers such as Abzan Falconer, Aqueous Form, and natural flying. The list sustains its momentum using card-filtering cantrips, efficient countermagic, and targeted protection spells like Loran's Escape and Gods Willing that trigger the commander while shielding key threats. While the strategy lacks compact infinite combos or hard stax locks, it reliably establishes a commanding combat clock by Turn 6. Its primary vulnerabilities are mass creature sweepers—especially exile and bounce effects—and an over-reliance on Denzilore Fatehold to translate card filtering into decisive board pressure.
