Deck overview

This deck is commanded by Kudo, King Among Bears, an engine that flattens every creature on the battlefield into a base 2/2 Bear. While this shrinks opposing monsters and voltron commanders into manageable sizes, the deck breaks parity by stacking static anthems, +1/+1 counters, and tribal synergies. Cards such as Ayula, Queen Among Bears, Glorious Anthem, Radiant Destiny, and Beorn the Fierce ensure your Bears consistently dominate combat. The deck also contains potent asymmetric synergies: Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite wipes all opposing creatures instantly when Kudo is active, and Reverence completely prevents opponents from declaring attacks. Victory is typically achieved through wide, anthem-boosted combat damage, with Avenger of Zendikar and Approach of the Second Sun serving as late-game backup plans. The deck's primary bottlenecks are a low concentration of repeatable card draw and limited tutor density, leaving it reliant on natural top-deck sequencing.
