Deck overview

This deck is a synergistic Selesnya tribal and +1/+1 counters strategy commanded by Kyler, Sigardian Emissary. The primary game plan revolves around deploying cheap utility Humans and mana dorks during the early turns, establishing a solid board presence, and casting Kyler on turn 4. Once Kyler hits the battlefield, every subsequent Human cast or token generated places counters on Kyler while simultaneously pumping all other Humans by an equal amount. Token producers such as Adeline, Resplendent Cathar, Reverent Hoplite, and Visions of Glory quickly balloon the squad into massive threats capable of dealing lethal combat damage across the table. Evasion pieces like Abzan Falconer and Champion of Lambholt ensure blockers cannot stand in the way of an alpha strike. Supported by defensive spells like Veil of Summer and Sigarda, Font of Blessings, the deck seeks to overpower the table through exponential power scaling.
