Deck overview

This deck is a high-powered Dragon tribal stompy strategy commanded by The Ur-Dragon. It leverages the commander's eminence ability alongside efficient ramp and cost reducers to deploy massive, evasive Dragon threats ahead of curve. The deck establishes its core engine around Turn 4 with pieces like Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm or Temur Ascendancy, quickly escalating into a must-answer lethal state on Turn 5 with damage multipliers like Atarka, World Render and Terror of the Peaks. It can also close games instantly via an infinite combat loop using Old Gnawbone and Aggravated Assault. Supported by a premier interactive suite including free spells, countermagic, and mass recursion like Patriarch's Bidding, the deck maintains resilience against removal while threatening lethal combat damage across the entire table by Turn 6.
