Deck overview

This deck is a Rakdos political control strategy built around forced combat, goad redirection, and group slug attrition. Led by Xantcha, Sleeper Agent, the deck donates high-stat attackers and buffs to opponents while forcing them to attack each other each combat. It establishes early board presence by deploying Xantcha on Turn 3 to drain life totals and generate steady card advantage. In the mid game, cards like Baeloth Barrityl, Entertainer, Alexios, Deimos of Kosmos, Death Kiss, and Disrupt Decorum accelerate the table's damage clock while Crawlspace, No Mercy, and Kazuul, Tyrant of the Cliffs prevent opponents from retaliating. As opposing life totals collapse from infighting, the deck transitions into the end game around Turn 7, finishing the final opponent using Insurrection, Master of Cruelties, Brash Taunter, or repeated Xantcha activations.
