Deck overview

This deck is a Temur Dragon tribal strategy helmed by Ureni of the Unwritten. The game plan focuses on deploying early ramp spells and cost reducers during the first four turns to reach seven mana by Turn 5. Once cast, Ureni looks at the top eight cards of the library upon entering the battlefield and on every attack, cheating a Dragon directly into play. With 27 Dragons in the deck, Ureni consistently hits massive flying threats like Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm, Atarka, World Render, and Lathliss, Dragon Queen. Haste enablers such as Dragon Tempest and Temur Ascendancy allow cheated Dragons to attack immediately, while damage multipliers like Thrakkus the Butcher double total combat output. The deck leverages tribal sweepers like Desolation of Smaug to clear opposing boards without damaging its own Dragons, closing the game around Turn 7 through overwhelming aerial damage.
