Abzan Armor - Tarkir: Dragonstorm Commander by iBori

Format: Commander

Commander: Felothar the Steadfast

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is an Abzan "toughness matters" deck built around Felothar the Steadfast, combining a defender/wall core with toughness-as-power payoffs. Felothar the Steadfast turns every wall into a potential attacker and lets Felothar the Steadfast itself turn sacrificial high-toughness creatures into huge card draw. The deck accelerates with defender-based mana producers like Axebane Guardian, Overgrown Battlement, and Sylvan Caryatid, draws through ETB walls such as Wall of Omens and Wall of Blossoms, and finishes via massive toughness attackers like Towering Titan, The Walls of Ba Sing Se, Zetalpa, Primal Dawn, and the Tree of Perdition life-exchange line. Backup toughness enablers Assault Formation, Doran, Besieged by Time, and Baldin, Century Herdmaster provide redundancy, while Nethroi, Apex of Death, Reunion of the House, and Colfenor's Urn rebuild the board after wipes.
