Deck overview

This Jeskai deck leverages Gandalf, Party Guest as a high-tempo mana-cheating engine supported by a dense core of low-cost legendary Wizards. By deploying legendary creatures across the first three turns, Gandalf enters on Turn 4 and immediately casts spells up to mana value 6 for free during combat. By Turn 5, scaling the board allows Gandalf to cheat massive game-ending spells like Insurrection, Approach of the Second Sun, or Enter the Infinite. When casting spells for free, the deck can hold open all its lands for reactive counterspells and instant-speed protection. Backup plans pivot smoothly into wide Wizard beatdown through Adeliz, the Cinder Wind and Balmor, Battlemage Captain, turning cheap cantrips into explosive combat damage. While vulnerable to early sweepers and lacking stax elements, the deck delivers overwhelming tempo swings when its board sticks.
