Deck overview

This Rakdos deck is a dedicated forced-combat and political control strategy helmed by Xantcha, Sleeper Agent. The primary game plan is to deploy Xantcha early under an opponent's control, establishing immediate combat pressure and turning excess mana into card advantage. The deck stabilizes behind defensive deterrents like Crawlspace, No Mercy, and Kazuul, Tyrant of the Cliffs while systematically goading opposing armies using tools such as Disrupt Decorum, Kardur, Doomscourge, Baeloth Barrityl, Entertainer, and Alexios, Deimos of Kosmos. By forcing opponents to attack each other and exhaust their resources, life totals across the table drop rapidly. Once opponents are depleted, the deck closes the game using explosive finishers like Insurrection, Captive Audience, Master of Cruelties, or direct life drain through Xantcha's activated ability.
