Deck overview

This deck is an explosive Izzet Spellslinger and Storm Combo deck commanded by Vivi Ornitier. Vivi acts as both a mana accelerator and a primary win condition, growing with every noncreature spell cast, pinging each opponent for 1 damage per cast, and converting its power directly into colored mana. The deck accelerates in the opening turns with elite fast mana such as Chrome Mox, Mana Vault, and Sol Ring, deploying Vivi on turn 2 or 3. Once assembled, the deck launches an explosive turn 4 win attempt through Underworld Breach loops with Brain Freeze and Lion's Eye Diamond, or a massive draw cascade fueled by Curiosity and Jeska's Will. A dense suite of free and efficient counterspells—including Force of Will, Fierce Guardianship, and Deflecting Swat—shields the combo from disruption. While the 30-snow-land manabase and casual burn inclusions keep the deck out of dedicated cEDH territory, its lethal speed and compact storm loops make it a formidable high-power threat.
