Deck overview

This deck is a Golgari Elf tribal strategy commanded by Lathril, Blade of the Elves. The primary plan focuses on establishing early mana acceleration, casting Lathril, and enhancing her combat capabilities with equipment or lords to generate 1/1 Elf Warrior tokens whenever she deals combat damage. As the board state expands, the deck leverages wide token generators such as Elven Ambush and Wolverine Riders to cross the threshold of ten untapped Elves. Once assembled, Lathril's activated ability repeatedly drains 10 life from every opponent while gaining 10 life, bypassing traditional combat obstacles. A rich suite of regeneration spells, hexproof tricks, and tribal lords supports the board against opposing interaction. The deck closes games reliably through a blend of direct life drain and unblockable combat pressure.
