Deck overview

This deck utilizes Shirei, Shizo's Caretaker alongside 33 copies of Shadowborn Apostle to build a recurring sacrifice engine. By casting cheap Apostles in the early turns, the deck sets up for Shirei's arrival on Turn 5. Once Shirei is active, sacrificing six Apostles to tutor a massive Demon incurs no card disadvantage, as all 1-power creatures return to the battlefield at the next end step. The deck's primary win condition revolves around cheating Razaketh, the Foulblooded into play, using returned Apostles to tutor key pieces like Pitiless Plunderer, Zulaport Cutthroat, and Echoing Return to drain the entire table. An alternate route leverages Thrumming Stone to ripple out nearly every Apostle in the deck in a single turn. The deck's primary vulnerabilities are heavy reliance on Shirei surviving and an almost complete absence of reactive answers or defensive protection spells.
