This Gruul deck uses Aerid Konstrari to blend ramp, artifact token generation, and explosive combat finishes. The primary game plan utilizes cheap 1-to-2 CMC mana rocks and dorks to deploy Aerid by Turn 3 or 4, creating Heartwood tokens that produce red or green mana. These tokens accelerate high-impact threats while building a critical mass of artifacts on your board. By Turn 5, the deck reaches critical onset by animating tokens with Depthshaker Titan, copying threats with Twinflame, or activating Aerid's pump ability alongside double-strike spells like Team Tactics. Because Aerid creates a Heartwood token upon dying, the deck naturally pays its own commander tax, enabling swift recovery after board wipes. The deck relies on high-volume card draw, rummaging, and efficient fight spells to maintain momentum and eliminate opponents across three consecutive combat turns.
