Deck overview

This Simic deck commands the ocean depths with Zimone, Quandrix Prodigy, accelerating mana to cast massive Krakens, Leviathans, Octopuses, and Serpents. The strategy focuses on establishing early mana rocks and cost reducers like Emerald Medallion and Sapphire Medallion, then transitioning into heavy mid-game beaters. Threats such as Spawning Kraken, Koma, World-Eater, and Bonny Pall, Clearcutter generate continuous token swarms and draw cards while attacking. Evasion from Serpent of Yawning Depths and asymmetric bounce from Scourge of Fleets clear pathways through opposing defenses. While the deck boasts immense board presence and robust mana generation, it lacks dedicated instant-speed counterspells and protection magic, making it susceptible to well-timed board wipes. When uninterrupted, its high-power sea creatures overpower opposing life totals across sequential combat turns.
