Deck overview

This deck is a Naya combat control and goad archetype commanded by Marisi, Breaker of the Coil. Its strategy revolves around establishing early mana acceleration through 16 one- and two-mana ramp pieces, then deploying cheap, evasive attackers such as Soltari Foot Soldier, Silhana Ledgewalker, and Gingerbrute. Once Marisi, Breaker of the Coil enters the battlefield on Turn 3 or 4, dealing combat damage silences opponent spellcasting during combat and forces opposing armies to attack each other through goad. As opponents whittle down their own life totals and creature boards through forced combat, the deck amasses a wide creature presence using token generators like Adeline, Resplendent Cathar and Rabble Rousing. The deck closes the game rapidly on Turn 5 to 6 by deploying massive overrun finishers like Jetmir, Nexus of Revels and Beastmaster Ascension. Supported by efficient protection spells such as Flawless Maneuver and Boros Charm, the deck maintains a resilient, proactive grip on the table.
