Deck overview

This mono-red Commander deck is spearheaded by Lathliss, Dragon Queen, focusing on overwhelming opponents with high-power flying Dragons and compounding ETB damage triggers. The deck accelerates through early turns using cost-reducing creatures such as Dragonlord's Servant and Dragonspeaker Shaman alongside traditional mana rocks. Once Lathliss, Dragon Queen is established on turn 5, subsequent Dragon casts generate 5/5 flying tokens, effectively doubling board presence with every spell. Win conditions revolve around overwhelming aerial combat supported by haste enablers like Dragon Tempest and damage amplifiers such as Terror of Mount Velus and Scourge of Valkas. The deck packs potent board sweepers tailored to break parity, such as Breath Weapon and Blasphemous Act. While formidable in creature-based combat, the deck remains vulnerable to board wipes, fast combo decks, and non-creature permanents due to mono-red's natural interaction limits.
