Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Boros spellslinger combo deck commanded by Lorehold, the Historian. It leverages its commander's rummaging trigger on each opponent's upkeep and miracle granting to filter rapidly through the library and cheat mana costs on impactful spells. The primary victory condition is the compact two-card infinite combo of Dualcaster Mage and Twinflame, which creates an arbitrarily large army of hasty 2/2 creatures to eliminate all opponents in a single combat step. Alternatively, the deck can generate infinite storm, mana, and damage through Birgi, God of Storytelling or Storm-Kiln Artist combined with Grinning Ignus or buyback spells like Haze of Rage and Reiterate. An extensive suite of low-cost interaction, coupled with Sunforger's ability to tutor protection spells like Silence and Boros Charm, ensures that the deck can aggressively assemble and defend its winning turns against opposing disruption.
