The Ring of Fire by Kingler

Format: Commander

Commander: Neheb, Dreadhorde Champion

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This mono-red deck is built around Neheb, Dreadhorde Champion as a combat-speed draw and mana engine. The goal is to attack with Neheb, discard a large hand to draw and float red mana, then convert every discard into damage with Glint-Horn Buccaneer, Magmakin Artillerist, Brallin, and other payoff permanents. Wheels such as Magus of the Wheel and Reforge the Soul keep the hand full and amplify those triggers, while Chandra's Ignition, Mana Geyser, and damage-doubling effects provide the finishing burst. The commander is the primary enabler, but the deck's non-commander draw/burn package lets it function at a slower pace if Neheb is removed.
