Format: Commander

Commander: Thorin Oakenshield

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Thorin Oakenshield leads a Boros Dwarven war-band that combines cheap legendary Dwarves, Treasures, Equipment, and Sagas into an 'enduring story' board. The primary plan is to unlock storied early, then win with a wide Dwarf beatdown backed by anthems and double strike; the secondary path uses Magda, Brazen Outlaw to tutor haste Dragons such as Smaug or Goldspan. The commander's main role is a 3/2 ward-1 aura for the whole team rather than a finisher. There is no true hidden commander; Thorin, King of Durin's Folk is the best non-commander payoff. The deck has no fast combo and wins through combat math.
