Commander: Ygra, Eater of All

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Ygra, Eater of All deck is a Golgari Food/sacrifice engine that turns death triggers into card advantage, table-wide drain, and a colossal commander. Ygra turns every creature on the battlefield into a Food artifact, so each death feeds him +1/+1 counters and makes artifact wipes like Fade from History, Bane of Progress, and Creeping Corrosion play as effectively one-sided board clears. The primary win is the Witch's Oven + Cauldron Familiar loop, which goes infinite with any of several drain payoffs: Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, Bastion of Remembrance, Mirkwood Bats, or Marionette Apprentice. A secondary beatdown plan grows Ygra enormous and sends him in with trample from Herd Heirloom, Overprotect, or Night of the Sweets' Revenge, with Rogue's Passage making him unblockable. Token multipliers Chatterfang, Squirrel General, Peregrin Took, and Academy Manufactor explode Food production, while Garruk, Cursed Huntsman provides wolves and an emblem as backup.
