Deck overview

This is a five-color Eldrazi token deck helmed by Azlask, the Swelling Scourge, built around generating Eldrazi Spawn and Scion tokens, sacrificing them for mana and experience counters, then activating Azlask to pump the entire board and grant Scions/Spawns indestructible and annihilator for a lethal overrun. Token doublers - Doubling Season, Adrix and Nev, Twincasters, Ojer Taq, Deepest Foundation, and Kaya, Geist Hunter - multiply the swarm into a genuine threat base. Beneath the combat plan sits a real combo channel: Basking Broodscale plus a counter source (Cathars' Crusade or Rosie Cotton of South Lane) generates infinite Spawns, feeding infinite experience counters and infinite damage through Barrage Tyrant or Spawn-Gang Commander. Tutors like Eladamri's Call, Diabolic Intent, Fauna Shaman, and Birthing Ritual plus recursion from Meren of Clan Nel Toth and Cauldron of Essence keep the engine running.
